Chobani Tour
We are pleased to announce that our May PMI chapter meeting will be held in Twin Falls at the Chobani Facility, 3450 Kimberly Road.
Date : Friday, May 5th
Time : 5:00 p.m.
Dinner/Event Cost : $10/person (pre-paid for each person except for Chobani personnel)
Like our April meeting, you may bring a guest. Adults only are allowed for this educational event as the tour is not tailored to children.
Our tour at Chobani will begin with a safety briefing. You will be required to wear long pants and closed-toed shoes. You will be provided with a lab coat and hair net since this is a facility that makes food. Cleanliness and safety are top priorities. After the tour, we will have dinner and network.
The chapter is looking into chartering a bus from Idaho Falls, if there is enough interest. It is not a guarantee, but each rider would be charged a nominal travel fee (not included in the cost of the event). It does not have to be pre-paid. If we can get secure 25 riders, we will provide that option. (For those of you that live in Blackfoot and Pocatello, a stop near the interstate could be facilitated).

Brief Bio:
Chobani commissioned its second domestic manufacturing facility in Twin Falls, Idaho, in 2013, making it the largest yogurt manufacturing facility in the world. Chobani's presence in Idaho has served as a catalyst for new jobs and continues to have a significant positive economic impact in the region.
