January Chapter Meeting - Advanced Test Reactor (ATR)
The PMI chapter of Eastern Idaho will be holding their monthly meeting on Wednesday, January 16 th, at 6:30 p.m. Stockman’s Restaurant, Idaho Falls. Our guest speaker will be Dr. Sean O’Kelly, Associate Laboratory Director for the INL Advanced Test Reactor Complex (ATR). Dr. O’Kelly has more than 30 years of nuclear reactor experience and holds a doctorate in mechanical engineering from the University of Texas. As a senior leadership team member, Sean is responsible for the overall reactor operations, maintenance, experiments and engineering the 250 MW Advanced Test Reactor. Please join us for the evening as Sean gives our group an overview of Advanced Test Reactor facility and discusses the life cycle projects that will sustain the capabilities of the facility through year 2040.
