PMI & PMI East Idaho

PMI is an international non-profit organization focused on promoting professionalism in Project Management. To learn more about PMI, visit their Web site at www.pmi.org. Making Project Management indispensable to Business Results is a major PMI objective. There are three key components to the PMI Eastern Idaho Chapter's support of this initiative. These include project management education, member involvement, and corporate involvement.

Project Management Education is a long-standing strength of our Chapter. Enrollment for our PMP Exam Reviews is high and the pass rate from this preparation class is >98%. We are developing a School Outreach program that will build relationships between the Chapter and area educational institutions.

Member involvement is essential to the success of our entirely volunteer-run Eastern Idaho PMI Chapter, which serves project management professionals across Eastern Idaho, including the Idaho Falls, Pocatello, and Twin Falls areas, as well as surrounding communities within the 832–834 zip code region. There are many ways for members to engage in chapter operations, programs, and events. Members and prospective members are encouraged to take advantage of the educational and networking opportunities offered through our monthly meetings, typically held on the third Wednesday of each month, with formats designed to support participation across our geographically diverse service area. For those seeking a more active role, volunteer opportunities are available with a range of time commitments and areas of focus. Members are also encouraged to share feedback with the Chapter leadership team at any time.

The Eastern Idaho PMI Chapter is proud to be part of PMI Region 1, which encompasses Alaska, western Canada, and the northwestern United States. Within this region, our chapter represents Eastern Idaho, supporting project management professionals through education, networking, and professional development aligned with PMI standards. We collaborate with fellow Region 1 chapters to share best practices, strengthen the project management community, and advance the profession across our local and regional footprint.

Corporate involvement is also strongly encouraged throughout the Eastern Idaho region. The Chapter supports local and regional employers by offering a complimentary job posting service on our website, providing organizations with direct access to a network of qualified project management professionals.
