Refund Policy
1. Overview
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all events hosted by the PMI Eastern Idaho Chapter, including but not limited to chapter meetings, learning sessions, professional development seminars, certification prep courses, and special events.
2. Chapter Meetings & Networking Events
- Full refund if cancellation is requested at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled start of the event.
- No refunds for cancellation requests made less than 24 hours before the event.
- No substitutions allowed—registrations are not transferable.
3. Lunch‑and‑Learn / Networking Meetings
- There will be no charge to these meetings. Free of charge for all members
4. Professional Development Seminars & Workshops
- More than 30 days prior: 90% refund of the registration fee.
- Between 29 and 8 days prior: 75% refund.
- Within 7 days of the event: No refund, as event expenses are already committed
- Option for replacement attendees may be permitted for these events, pending board approval.
5. Certification Prep Courses
- More than 30 days prior: Full refund.
- 29–8 days prior: 75% refund or credit toward a future session.
- Within 7 days of the start: No refund; however, credit toward a future course may be approved in extenuating circumstances.
- Course cancellations by the chapter warrant full refunds.
6. Special Events & Conferences
- Apply the Professional Development Seminars refund structure above (90%/75%/0%), unless otherwise specified.
- If a keynote speaker withdraws or the event is cancelled by the chapter, registrants may receive a full refund or credit.
7. Request Process & Communication
- Refund requests must be submitted via email to the Chapter’s VP of Finance and VP of Communications, including registrant name, event name, and reason for cancellation (similar to several chapter policies)
- Refunds will be processed within 14–30 days of approval.
- Refunds will be returned via original payment method (e.g., credit card, PayPal, or check) unless otherwise agreed.
8. Exceptions / Board Discretion
- The Chapter Board reserves the right to make exceptions in extraordinary circumstances, such as emergencies or last-minute speaker cancellations.
9. Effective Date
This policy is effective as of October 1st, 2025, and applies to all registrations made on or after this date.
