Calendar of Events

Please join us in-person or virtual for the next meeting of the Eastern Idaho Chapter of the Project Management Institute, which is scheduled for February 15th. Linda Montgomery (bio below) will discuss approaches to risk management, including project risk, and methods for risk decision-making and mitigation.  She will also discuss effective ways to frame risk choices for senior management.

The meeting will be held at Stockman's Restaurant located at 1175 Pier View Drive in Idaho Falls. Networking starts at 6:00 pm. Dinner will be available for in-person attendees at 6:30 pm. Cost w/dinner will be $15 for non-PMI chapter members, and $10 for PMI chapter members. Virtual attendees will be $5. Link for virtual registration  Virtual Registration .

Linda is a retired attorney. During her 30-year career, she was General Counsel for three DOE sites, including 6 years for INL.  In addition to her DOE contractor career, she served as senior corporate counsel for two different Fortune 50 construction companies. Linda has advised companies from small start-ups to multinational corporations in risk management.  She has been listed in Who’s Who, won numerous awards in law and as a woman business professional, and was named by the  National Law Journal as one of the 50 trailblazers in energy and environmental law (only one of two on the list not in a law firm). Since retirement, she spends her time on several non-profit boards and works as an advisor to the College of Eastern Idaho.
